Hello all you beautiful people.
Ok next up are the crazy flowers that will make anyone smile.

But first you need to clean out your cans good and then remove the ink from around the can. There are a few ways to do this one is sanding, which is not for me, takes too long and is too much like work.

I like this method. You use a pressure pot, cotton balls, and nail polish remover with acetone.

put your cans in the pressure pot and fill about half full of water, it's only supposed to take 20 minutes, but I used my instant pot which needs to heat up so I do 30 minutes twice. Then after they cool off remove ink with cotton ball and nail polish remover, it takes a bit but gives you the shiny side of the can. Of course you make them without removing the ink, but then they won't be shiny, and you will have to use more paint to cover them. Now we're coming to the fun part, first measure out sections for the petals. There are two ways to do this you can use a ruler and attach it to the can.

But of course, I like doing it the other way, just pinch the top together then turn it and put the pinches together and pinch together and pinch again this gives you your four petals from there you can pinch together each again to make eight or you can make lots of thin strips.

Once you decide how many petals you want,

You can round them or make points. Then you decide how many cans you want to put together.

And three cans make one beautiful flower. Now take it all apart for the paint. I use spray paint for the main paint then paint markers for the details. Now you can put it back together. You can use glue however that doesn't work very well if you're putting them outside. We drilled holes through them and used nuts and bolts to hold them together. Then come the stems you can use paint stirrers with drilled in it, we didn't and what a headache that was. This is my first one it's four cans.

And of course, my favorite. How ever I ended up with so many flowers I even had to send a bunch to my sister for around her pool, and I still have more so I have changed my focus to recycled earring which I sell on Etsy.
Have a great day see you soon. Bye
