Day 4

Hello again

Well, now that I told you all about the tree and the flowers, let me explain how difficult this really was. Because I live in Southwest Florida. The sun is brutal so therefore, every time I put something new on the shed I also sprayed it all down with silicone. So, by the time I got the shed pretty much done. We probably have about 8 to 10 layers of silicone or polyurethane whichever one my husband bought. So, if you live in a place where there's lots and lots of sun, you better get the silicone spray out. The other thing on the tree is all those leaves they're all made with a stencil and milk jug and then some glitter. We also put butterflies. which are also made from milk jugs. However, what we put on them was a lot of different things from old CDs to fabric and again glitter, we used almost anything's that would catch the light. Ok now looking at a side view of the shed you'll see there's a big, huge tree. It's a rubber tree and it grows like a weed. On that I put some little bird house I made out of plastic soda bottles, and I think one is a little bigger, that one is done with vinegar bottle, then I filled them with Spanish moss which grows all over where I live so I didn't have to buy it. The other thing on the tree is the little round disc's which I made with the bottom of soda cans. I took them off and pounded the crap out of them until they were flat. It was a great stress, reliever I colored them all different colors with a sharpie, paint and even nail polish. Then both of these I sprayed with silicone. Sometimes when the wind is blowing just right, they click together and make a really, really pretty sounds. And with that, I'll say good night. See you next time.
