Hi thanks for being here with me
I know I told you that not only am I going blind, but I'm also handicapped, my disability is neuropathy. Which is when your nerves are damaged. However most people get it in their hands and feet, but of course not me I have it all over inside and out even my face.
I tingle. All the time, and I don't feel pain like most people sometimes I don't feel anything and other times it feels like I'm being stabbed, never know which one I'm going to get.
There is no cure for my disability, there is also no medication that were made specifically for it, so we treat the symptoms with other medications they work somewhat but nothing takes the pain away all the way.
It's funny because if you touch me lightly it feels like all my nerves go right to the spot, but if I know you're going to touch me I can brace myself for it, one day in the shower I almost kicked Vi in the face.
I also have balance problems, so I use a walker but that's ok because it's better than my wheelchair. But I have to say the VA gave me a really cool one, remote control, all terrain wheels special padding in the seat and it even has the Navy seal on the back, the VA takes good care of me and everything I need thank God. So, this is making my bucket list more of a wish list, but it is I just live with it. I've come long way since the beginning of this, they are sometimes I don't think my husband like me getting my independence back but that's just it dam bad.
Talk to you latter, stay safe.
